Christmas Haul 2018

First and foremost, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!! I hope you’ve all had a joyful and family-filled month and eaten lots of yummy foods ๐Ÿ™‚

I do realize it’s been a little while since my last post and to be honest I’ve just been busy with finals, family, and work! I absolutely love December but it can definitely be one of the most stressful times of the year for some (definitely me).

As I get older, I’ve realized that I haven’t been asking for gifts as much as I have wanted just money and gift cards…I guess this is what adulting is like? My mom does a pretty good job at figuring out gifts to give me without my help, so most of what I got is all props to her! There was quite a bit of makeup and hair care, as well as some journaling books which I absolutely loveee.  I also got the black Michael Kors Mercer crossbody bag which I have been DYING to get since September, but somehow have held out for.

Christmas Day was so much fun, and getting to spend it with my family and experience the traditions we’ve been doing since I was little means so much each year! My siblings and I usually wake up (pretty early) and go downstairs to open gifts for an hour, then get ready and head to my grandparent’s house, where we have a big family brunch.  I spent the whole day playing with my young cousins, trying out new gifts, and playing lots of board games.  There’s just something so fun about being surrounded by everyone you love and laughing and having a good time all day, without anything to worry about.

I’m hoping to spend these next few days relaxing before the semester starts back up, and I’m planning on getting some content up pretty consistently for a while (fingers crossed).

As always, thanks for visiting my blog ๐Ÿ™‚ Merry Christmas & Happy New Years loves xx
